Service lines bring gas from a Main to a meter and are normally connected to a Fitting located on a Main.

1. In Command Manager, select Service from the Gas Mains group.
2. Click on the Place Feature Icon or double click on the selected Feature to start the placement command.

   

3. Click on the Line Segment Mode Icon.

   

4. Change the default property values as necessary in the Placement Form.

   

5. Click on a start location.
6. Place more data points to add vertices to the new Service.
7. Right-Click (Reset) to stop the placement at the last vertex location.
8. Click at a location to place Annotation Text.
